1957 A thundersquall caused an estimated $100,000 damage. A barn near South Newstead was wrecked by a small tornado. A small funnel cloud was reported near the Buffalo airport. The high temperature of 87 degrees in Buffalo for the day established a new record high for the date as well as an all-time high for the month of April.
