Large to very large hail is possible on Thursday afternoon and evening as a cold front moves in from the north. Damaging winds are also possible.
A hot and humid day is expected with highs in the 90s to around 105 degrees.
Dry weather and above normal temperatures continue on Wednesday. A cold front moves through on Thursday bringing the possibility of a few strong to severe thunderstorms and cooler temperatures across the Hill Country to areas along and east of I-35. Slightly below normal temperatures are expected Friday through Sunday. Low chances of showers and thunderstorms along the Rio Grande on Friday gradually spread to all areas by Sunday.
