Storm Systems Continue to Impact the Pacific Northwest; Lake Effect Snow Continues

A second Pacific cold front will cross the Pacific Northwest Wednesday followed by another atmospheric river. Each of these features will bring additional periods of gusty winds, mountain snow, and heavy to excessive rainfall with renewed flooding. Under mostly cloudy skies, high temperatures in the upper 50s to mid 60s will be within 5 degrees below December 16th averages.
Mostly cloudy tonight with low temperatures in the low to mid 40s across most of the area, with upper 40s along the Rio Grande. Light south winds.
Above to well above average temperatures are expected through the middle of next week. There are chances of showers and a few thunderstorms along and east of the I-35 corridor going into Wednesday.
