A Flood Watch has been issued for portions of Central and East Texas through 7 pm this evening. Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall will result in isolated rainfall totals between 3 to 5 inches across the watch area. Remember - Turn Around, Don't Drown! Never drive through barricades, and use extra caution at low water crossings and poor drainage areas.
Scattered showers and storms will continue through Labor Day across parts of North and Central Texas. Not everyone will see rainfall tonight and tomorrow, but do check the weather if you plan on being outside for the Labor Day holiday!
Slightly warmer temperatures are expected this week as rain chances briefly come to an end following the Labor Day holiday. Near or even slightly below normal temperatures are expected, with afternoon highs mostly in the 80s to low 90s and morning lows in the 60s.
