Areas of Severe Thunderstorms and Excessive Rainfall Through This Weekend

Severe thunderstorms which can bring large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes will be possible over parts of the central U.S. through this weekend. Nov. 2019 Summary (Slightly Colder-Than-Normal...Above-Average Snowfall Most Areas):

November 2019 was highlighted by well-above-average snowfall across the majority of our coverage area (except for parts of the southeast), along with slightly below average temperatures (area-wide). Precipitation wise, roughly the northwestern two-thirds of the area was above normal, while especially the southeastern one-fourth (particularly within north central KS) was solidly below normal. The single biggest "weather highlight" of the month was a significant winter storm on the 26th that dumped 6-10" of snow across roughly the northwestern two-thirds of the area. (See full narrative in the tabs below for much more!)
