Widespread life-threatening flash and urban flooding continues in south-central Texas, with considerable flooding impacts possible across central Texas. Wildfire smoke is impacting air quality across much of the Great Lakes region into southern New England and the Mid-Atlantic. Thru Nov 17th, 2018 is the 5th wettest year on record at the Jackson Weather Office, only 4.21" behind the wettest year (1989). With around 6 weeks until the end of the year, 2018 has plenty of time to climb the rankings. At least another 0.50" to 0.75" of precipitation is possible through the end of November. Meanwhile, Jackson December normal precipitation is 4.18"
