Hawaii and Guam Concerns; Severe Weather for the Plains; Heavy Snow for Sierra-Nevada

Heavy rainfall capable of causing flash flooding will continue to impact Hawaii through Monday. Severe thunderstorms and heavy rain are possible in parts of Texas and the southern Plains and the Upper Great Lakes. ...Elevated Fire Danger This Afternoon...

Low humidity, sunny to mostly sunny skies, unseasonably warm
temperatures, very dry fuels, and breezy conditions will combine
to result in Elevated Fire Danger this afternoon into early
evening. Humidities will slowly recover but winds are forecast to
persist through the overnight. Burning is not recommended as wildfire
behavior could become erratic.

Remember that Kentucky regulations make it illegal to burn between
the hours of 6 AM and 6 PM within 150 feet of a woodland or
brushland during the Spring Forest Fire Season that runs until
April 30th.
