When is the average date for the first measurable snowfall (at least a tenth of an inch)? At Jackson...that date is the 28th of November. The earliest first measurable snowfall was October 20th 1989...while the latest first measurable snowfall was December 29th 2001. Looking ahead...no measurable snowfall is anticipated through the end of the month. We'll have to wait and see what December brings.
