Severe thunderstorms with damaging wind gusts will be possible from the mid-Mississippi Valley into parts of the Ohio Valley and central Appalachians. Heat will increase for the rest of the week as high pressure starts to influence our weather. Highs will be in the 90s with heat index values between 102 to 110 F. Rain chances will decrease through out the week.
The risk for dangerous heat will increase for the next two weeks.
Heat risk levels will slowly increase this week moving into the major category on Wednesday and Thursday.
Hot weather is expected this week with. There will be a small chance for showers or thunderstorms on Wednesday.
Mainly light to occasionally modest southerly flow with low seas. Rain chances will be at a minimal.
