Low chances for thunderstorms are forecast to return to portions of the Caprock and Rolling Plains this afternoon and evening. Some storms may be strong-to-severe, with damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph and hail up to quarter size possible.
Mild temperatures are forecast today following a bout of morning clouds and some fog, with low storm chances returning this afternoon and evening. Storm chances are forecast to linger into tonight. Severe weather cannot be ruled out this afternoon and evening.
Chances of showers and thunderstorms persist into the weekend, with Friday seeing the highest chances. Severe storms cannot be ruled out.
