Snowfall

Snow amounts ranged from 8 to 12 inches plus +over the Greenbrier Valley and Alleghany Highlands, with 4 to 8 inches over the New River Valley, northeast into the Roanoke and southern Shenandoah Valleys, with less than 4 inches east of the Virginia foothills, south into North Carolina.
