.DISCUSSION...

A cold front pushes through the area late tonight and Sunday, 
bringing a widespread chance for rainfall and thunderstorms
through the weekend. Rainfall amounts will be between a tenth to a
half an inch for this weekend, the higher end of the amounts in 
the mountains, lower in the Piedmont. Additional chances for 
widespread wetting rainfall begins Tuesday. Above normal 
temperatures are expected to continue across the region through 
the period. Minimum RH values will be over 50% today and tomorrow,
lower on Monday, in the 30 to 40% range, then again increasing to
above 45% areawide by Wednesday. There are currently no fire 
weather concerns at this time.
