National Weather Service Blacksburg VA
240 PM EDT Fri May 22 2026

A stationary front over the region will promote periodic shower
and thunderstorm chances for the next 5-7 days. Humidity is
expected to remain elevated. As such, fire weather concerns
will be muted in spite of the ongoing drought.
