.DISCUSSION... 

A weak cold front is pushing through the area this afternoon, though no 
rain is expected. Northwest winds of 10-15 mph with gusts of 20-30 mph 
will continue through sunset. Dewpoints are dropping, with MinRH values 
in the 20s/30s, with higher amounts in WV around 50%. High pressure keeps 
conditions dry for Thursday, with no chance of rain. Winds will remain 
light, with gusts of 10-15 mph briefly Thursday afternoon, as clouds do 
increase. MinRH values on Thursday will be around 35-45%. Temperatures 
will be mild, around 60 degrees for highs. Friday will be even warmer, 
with area-wide 60s to near 70 in the Piedmont, as winds turn southwest 
and increase to 10 mph, gusting to around 20 mph in the afternoon. MinRH 
values rise significantly as moisture moves in. Heavy rain is expected 
Friday night through Saturday area-wide, with an inch or more of rain 
possible. Sunday will see high pressure build back into the area, with 
quiet an dry weather into early next week, with temperatures cooling off
to around normal for this time of year.
