Fire Weather Planning Forecast for SW VA...SE WV and NW NC
National Weather Service Blacksburg VA
158 PM EST Sat Nov 27 2021

.DISCUSSION...
Moisture increases slightly tonight ahead of a cold front, which
crosses the area on Sunday with little to no precipitation. Monday
may have the potential for critical fire weather conditions due
to low humidity values, gusty northwest wind and multiple days
without precipitation. The main area of concern will be east of
the Blue Ridge. Temperatures Monday will range from the low to
upper 40s in the area of concern. RH values increase slightly
Tuesday, but we will still see them bottom out in the 30-35%
range.
