.DISCUSSION...

Dry weather is expected to last until tomorrow, when showers and
thunderstorms return to mainly the mountains.  

Temperatures in the 80s and 90s continue through Saturday for 
urban areas and the Piedmont. Minimum RH values will fall into the
30 to 40 percent range for most locations east of the Blue Ridge
today and tomorrow. Light winds prevail, with an increasing NE
wind for the Piedmont tomorrow. By Saturday stronger WSW winds 
are expected with gusts to 25 mph for the higher peaks and ridges. 
Showers and storms become more widespread for the weekend into
early next week.
