Fire Weather Planning Forecast for SW VA...SE WV and NW NC
National Weather Service Blacksburg VA

.DISCUSSION...

A cold front over the northern Mid-Atlantic will cross the
forecast area tonight, then stall over the area for this
weekend. This will bring daily opportunity for scattered
showers and thunderstorms with best coverage Sunday through
Tuesday. The combination of cloud cover, higher humidity
and showers should mitigate fire concerns. Temperatures are
also expected to trend cooler.
