to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected through
tonight as a cold front works its way across the region.
Strong wind gusts and the potential for scattered wind damage
and localized flooding are possible. 

Dry weather returns Friday afternoon into the weekend, with
another chance for showers/storms Monday.
