.DISCUSSION...
Mountain snow showers will diminish this morning, but stratus will
linger in the mountains through noon. After a cold start,
temperatures moderate with RH values dropping to 20 to 30 percent
this afternoon for much of the area. Winds today may gust to 12
to 20 knots at times. Additional snow and rain showers are
possible beginning overnight tonight into Wednesday morning for
the mountains. Increasing southwest flow ahead of a system
arriving Thursday will allow moisture to increase areawide. The
next chance of widespread wetting rain is early Thursday through
Friday morning.
