.DISCUSSION...

Widespread showers and thunderstorms continue through Wednesday as 
a cold front slowly sinks south through the region. There will
continue to be quite a bit of lightning through Thursday. A drier
air mass tries to build into SE WV and parts of central VA 
Thursday, while moist air remains elsewhere. Additional chances 
for wetting rain are expected in these more humid locations 
Thursday and Friday. More widespread showers and storms are 
forecast for the weekend. Overall, there are only low fire 
weather concerns at this time given the wetting rains expected.
