Fire Weather Planning Forecast for SW VA...SE WV and NW NC
National Weather Service Blacksburg VA

.DISCUSSION...
A weak front shifts into the area tonight, keeping a low chance
for showers over the mountains. This boundary moves well south
of the area, and then north again on Christmas Day as a quick
moving low pressure system nears from the Ohio Valley, bringing
some light precipitation. High pressure will be in control in
the interim, bringing fair weather Christmas Eve. Another
system arrives for the weekend.
