.DISCUSSION...

...Heads up for severe storms this afternoon...
...It will also be windy...

Unsettled weather is expected this afternoon
into tonight. A strong cold front will cross the area
preceded by gusty surface winds and very warm temperatures.
Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are possible
with damaging winds the main threat.

Winds will be gusting to 20 to 35 mph before the storms.
Wetting rains will occur for most but not everyone, and
some may receive an inch or more if multiple storms move
over. Drying out Friday afternoon into the weekend, with
another chance for showers/storms Monday.
