.DISCUSSION...

...Increased Fire Potential for Monday...

A warming trend continues today in advance of an approaching cold
front that is expected to pass across the region by Monday
morning. This will bring cooler temperatures and a chance for
light rainfall amounts to the region tonight into Monday morning.

There is an increased fire potential for Monday for areas that
do not receive rain tonight into Monday morning. Gusty post-
frontal winds, RH values dropping to 15 to 25%, and warm
temperatures will increase the fire danger, specifically for the
Piedmont of VA and NC.

Dry high pressure settles in Tuesday, but rain shower chances
return again for Wednesday.
