Significant winter storm expected to impact the region beginning
this afternoon, and continuing through early Monday. 1 to 2 inches 
of liquid equivalent wintry precipitation is expected. Snow and ice 
will linger on the ground all week with little to no melting expected 
given temperatures will be below freezing for most until next Saturday.
