.DISCUSSION...

A cold front will pass across the lower Mid-Atlantic today, 
resulting in seasonal temperatures for today and Wednesday. 
Widely scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will develop 
this afternoon and evening, with highest coverage expected to 
occur to the east of Highway 29. Otherwise, morning clouds will 
give way to a mixture of clouds and sunshine during the after-
noon, with minimum relative humidity holding above 40 percent. 
Winds today will shift increasingly from the northwest, with 
gusts during the afternoon increasing into the 10 mph to 15 mph 
range. Increased coverage of wetting rainfall will return on 
Thursday through Saturday as another front drifts slowly 
across the lower Mid-Atlantic.
