Fire Weather Planning Forecast for SW VA...SE WV and NW NC
National Weather Service Blacksburg VA

.DISCUSSION...

Scattered shower and thunderstorm activity will continue through
Monday. While not everyone will see wetting rain, an extremely
humid airmass will continue to remain across the region. These
elevated humidity levels will keep any fire weather concerns to
a minimum. Drier conditions return Tuesday; however, soil and ground
litter is moist enough to keep fire weather concerns low.
