National Weather Service Blacksburg VA
215 PM EDT Fri Aug 21 2026

.DISCUSSION...

Additional widely scattered showers and thunderstorms will
develop across the lower Mid-Atlantic this afternoon and evening,
resulting in potentially another round of localized wetting
rainfall. Minimum RH holding at 50 percent or above areawide, with
most areas holding well above 50 percent for most of the day.
Given this wet pattern, there are currently no fire weather
concerns at this time.

A drier airmass arrives on Sunday with min RH values falling
below 50 percent. Breezy northwest winds through Monday.
