.DISCUSSION...

Temperatures will stay above normal through Saturday.
Showers and thunderstorms possible this afternoon and evening and
again Friday and Saturday, with damaging winds and lightning being
the greatest threats, though isolated hail and heavy rain are also
possible. A frontal passage will bring drier weather and lower 
temperatures for early next week, before the heat rebuilds over 
the region towards the middle of next week.
