.DISCUSSION...
Showers and thunderstorms will return on Thursday, resulting in 
rounds of wetting rainfall. The convection should be scattered 
Thursday, with signals that heavy rain will occur from the foot-
hills of North Carolina through the Southside of Virginia on 
Friday evening. Scattered wetting rainfall will continue on 
Saturday before drier air returns on Sunday.

Minimum afternoon relative humidity values Thursday afternoon 
are forecast to range from the mid-40% range across Central Virginia 
to the mid-60% range west of the Blue Ridge. Winds Thursday will be 
westerly at speeds of 10 mph or less.
