.DISCUSSION...

A cold front has passed across the lower Mid-Atlantic, 
resulting in seasonal temperatures for today and likely Wednesday. 
Widely scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will continue
to develop this afternoon and evening, with the highest coverage 
expected to occur to the east of Highway 29. Otherwise, a mixture 
of clouds and sunshine during the afternoon, with minimum relative 
humidity holding above 40 percent. Winds today will shift increasingly
from the northwest, with gusts during the afternoon increasing into 
the 10 mph to 15 mph range. Increased coverage of wetting rainfall 
will return on Thursday through Saturday as another front drifts slowly 
across the lower Mid-Atlantic.
