.DISCUSSION...

A potential remains for heavy rain and localized flash flooding
to occur across the Piedmont on Friday. The chances for these
showers and thunderstorms look to be more so east of a line
extending from Yadkinville, NC to the City of Lynchburg.
Scattered rounds of wetting rainfall will continue on Saturday
before drier air returns on Sunday behind the passage of a cold
front as surface high pressure settles into the region.
