National Weather Service Blacksburg VA
154 PM EDT Sat Aug 22 2026

.DISCUSSION...

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop across the lower
Mid-Atlantic late this afternoon and evening, resulting in
potentially another round of localized wetting rainfall. Minimum
RH holding at 60 percent or above areawide today. Given this wet
pattern, there are currently no fire weather concerns at this
time.

A drier airmass arrives tomorrow, with min RH values falling
below 50 percent into the mid 30% to 50% range. Breezy northwest
winds are expected through Monday.
