Fire Weather Planning Forecast for SW VA...SE WV and NW NC
National Weather Service Blacksburg VA

.DISCUSSION...
A low pressure system will pass to the south on Saturday to bring
a chance of wetting rainfall for North Carolina and parts of
Virginia east of the Blue Ridge. However, rainfall may not reach
West Virginia and Virginia west of the Blue Ridge. Dry conditions
will take place for Sunday through the middle of next week when
another low pressure system could bring a chance of showers and
thunderstorms. While this weekend should turn cooler, a warming
trend will occur by early next week.
