Strong to severe storms will be possible this afternoon into tonight for SE Alabama and SW Georgia. Isolated to damaging wind gusts will be the main concern, along with potentially heavy rainfall which could lead to isolated flash flooding. Small hail may also be possible in the stronger storms.
There is a Heat Advisory in effect this afternoon from noon EDT through 6pm EDT for portions of our south-central Georgia counties. Heat indices will range around 105-109 degrees.
