Steady and widespread light to moderate rain will affect most of the region this morning. Embedded and slow-moving lines of heavier rain are expected, bringing 3+ inches of rain in spots. This would result in short-lived nuisance runoff issues, such as ponding of water on roadways. Be sure to allow a little extra time for your travels today, so you can slow down on wet roads. Rain will taper off to spotty showers this afternoon. Dry weather is expected from Wednesday PM through the weekend.
