There is a marginal risk (Level 1 of 5) of severe weather across portions of the Florida panhandle, southeast Alabama, and southwest Georgia during the day on Thursday. The main threats are isolated damaging wind gusts near 60 mph along with the potential of hail up to quarter size. The tornado threat appears low at this time. 
Rain returns to the region Thursday and Friday thanks to a cold front! Forecast rainfall totals have come up, especially for southeastern Alabama, the Florida Panhandle, and parts of southwestern Georgia with lesser amounts for the southeastern Florida Big Bend.
