Heavy to excessive rainfall is possible over eastern New Mexico into western Texas and over the western Florida peninsula today. Looking ahead to this Holiday weekend, we are looking at temperatures warming up into the 90s. Yes, it is July, but we are expecting humidity to accompany these temperatures which will make it feel 3 to 6 degrees hotter.
