Possible showers and thunderstorms over the next two days, especially in the western combined Panhandles. These showers and storms will be very isolated, meaning potential impacts will be hit or miss.

Temperatures will slowly increase this upcoming Memorial Day weekend and there will be daily chances for showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms will have the potential to be severe, more so on Saturday. For Sunday and Monday, the thunderstorm chances remain across the western Panhandles at this time.

As the current system winds down, we are looking toward the middle of next week where trends are pointing toward a more active weather pattern returning. Climate outlooks imply near-normal temperatures and above average precipitation for the area in the 6-10 day range.
