Skies will stay mostly clear tonight with light winds and lingering wildfire smoke. Temperatures will fall into the 50s and 60s, with patchy fog possible.

An Air Quality Advisory will remain in effect for all of northern Lower and eastern Upper Michigan through Wednesday. This is due to elevated levels of fine particulate (PM2.5) stemming from a thick plume of Canadian wildfire smoke. A potential change is on the way as winds are expected to turn more southwesterly by midweek, which should shove most of the smoke out of the region. This idea should also support a warming trend for the latter half of the week.
