Join us at the Sleeping Bear Dunes on June 17th any time from 11 am - 3 pm for the park's first ever Splash into Summer Water Adventure Expo! We'll be joining the American Canoe Association, Benzie County Emergency Medical Services, Great Lakes Surf and Rescue Project, Lake Township Park, Michigan DNR, Michigan Sea Grant, Paul Oliver Hospital and the United States Coast Guard.
Aside from summer safety information, you'll be able to be a part of many demonstrations including life jacket fittings, SUP skills, kayak self rescue, face painting and scavenger hunts, among much more!
The event is free, open to everyone and will be held at the mouth of the Platte River by heading west off M-22 on Lake Michigan Rd. For more information regarding the event click here.
