Flooding Threat in Parts of Texas and New Mexico; Heat in the Western U.S.

Heavy to excessive rainfall across parts of central Texas into southern New Mexico may bring areas of flooding into this evening. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. We are back!!!

We are so happy to be in direct contact with our loyal FB followers once again. We truly enjoy the one-on-one correspondence with all of you, and we have missed you. Your feedback and storm reports have been missed.

During the past few months, there have been technical issues with several NWS Facebook accounts across the country, including NWS Burlington. Unfortunately, the problems are of a larger scale and not controlled locally, thus the prolonged down time.

Our FB page is back up for now, and hopefully stays activated, and we will provide the same services that we had before the outage.
