Extremely critical fire weather conditions are expected to develop across the Great Basin and Southwest today, and exceptionally dry and windy conditions will promote rapid wildfire spread through the weekend. ...NWS Caribou Frost/Freeze Program Ends for the Season...

The NWS Caribou frost/freeze program has ended for the season as
of October 21, 2023. Beyond this date, frost and hard freezes are
climatologically expected for all forecast areas and will not be
specifically mentioned in the forecast text. Frost advisories and
freeze warnings will also no longer be issued for this season. The
program will return in spring 2024.
