Severe Weather and Flooding Threats for the Central U.S.; Dangerous Heat in the Southern and Western U.S.

Severe weather and flooding threats will continue for portions of the central U.S. over the next couple of days, with multiple rounds of thunderstorms expected. Dangerous heat will persist across the southern and western U.S. through mid-week. ...Frost/Freeze Program Update for Spring 2026...

The frost/freeze program will become active for all of northern
and eastern Maine, effective Monday, June 1st. The program will
remain active until the appropriate end ending dates in the fall
of 2026.

A frost advisory will be issued if the temperature is expected to
drop to 32 to 36 degrees, and a freze warning will be issued if
the temperature is expected to drop below freezing. If you have
