...WARMEST SUMMER ON RECORD IN CARIBOU... THE METEOROLOGICAL SUMMER OF 2020 (JUNE THROUGH AUGUST) WAS THE WARMEST ON RECORD IN CARIBOU, MAINE. THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE WAS 66.9 DEGREES (F). THE BREAKS THE RECORD OF 66.3 DEGREES (F) WHICH WAS SET JUST 2 YEARS AGO IN 2018. A TOTAL OF 6.16" OF RAIN WAS OBSERVED DURING THE 3-MONTH PERIOD, WHICH WAS 5.16" BELOW THE 30-YEAR AVERAGE, AND RANKED AT THE 2ND DRIEST SUMMER ON RECORD BEHIND 1995 WHEN 5.6" OF RAIN WAS OBSERVED.
