High pressure dominates today with sunny skies and warmer temperatures. A cold front then moves through late this evening into Thursday bringing scattered rain showers to the area. Breezy winds behind this front will produce some hazardous boating conditions over the eastern gulf waters on Thursday. A brief cool down is then expected with some freezing temps on Friday morning. These freezing temps will be short-lived with pleasant weather and warming temps expected over the weekend.
