Storms Late Saturday

Rainfall This Weekend

Showers and storms are expected to move across the area late Saturday into Saturday night. A few of the most intense storms may contain marginally severe wind gusts and hail.

The potential for widespread and much needed rainfall has increased for this weekend. It appears that 1 to 2.5 inches could fall on average, with the heavier totals generally over central Mississippi from late Saturday afternoon into the evening. Rain should be moving out by early Sunday morning.
