During the very early morning hours of Friday, June 15, a line of very slow-moving thunderstorms developed across north central Illinois, basically just west of Interstate 39.  These brought a narrow axis of 3-5" of rain, including to parts of Rockford and Rochelle.  Flash flooding was reported in both locations.  Flash flood warnings were issued for this area.
