Heavy Rain and Flash Flooding in the West; Heat Expands in the Central U.S.

Monsoonal moisture will produce showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain over parts of the Southwest, Great Basin, and Central Rockies through Monday. Flash flooding is possible, especially in and around burn scars and in areas of steep terrain. KXI58 Plano, 162.400 MHz

NOAA All Hazards Weather Radio station KXI-58 serves portions of northeast Illinois, including Kendall County and surrounding areas, from a 300 Watt transmitter in Plano, Illinois. The nominal effective range of the transmitter is about 40 miles. Continuous 24 hour programming is provided from the National Weather Service Chicago Forecast Office, located southwest of Chicago in Romeoville Illinois.
