Another round of heavy rainfall will renew concerns for additional flash flooding and landslides in southern California around burn scars and coastal mountain ranges. A low pressure system is bringing enhanced snowfall downwind from the lower Great Lakes into the Northeast mountain ranges. KXI58 Plano, 162.400 MHz

NOAA All Hazards Weather Radio station KXI-58 serves portions of northeast Illinois, including Kendall County and surrounding areas, from a 300 Watt transmitter in Plano, Illinois. The nominal effective range of the transmitter is about 40 miles. Continuous 24 hour programming is provided from the National Weather Service Chicago Forecast Office, located southwest of Chicago in Romeoville Illinois.
