A Nor'easter will bring significant coastal impacts to the Mid-Atlantic and New England through the weekend. Moderate to major coastal flooding, heavy rain, strong winds and high surf expected. Hurricane Nolo is expected to stay just south of the Big Island of Hawaii. KZZ58 Kankakee, 162.525 MHz

NOAA All Hazards Weather Radio station WZZ-58 serves portions of northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana, including the Kankakee, Morocco and Lowell areas of northern Illinois and Indiana, from a 300 Watt transmitter in Kankakee, Illinois. The nominal effective range of the transmitter is about 40 miles. Continuous 24 hour programming is provided from the National Weather Service Chicago Forecast Office, located southwest of Chicago in Romeoville Illinois.
