...NOAA Weather Radio station KZZ81 in Lockport will be off the
air for transmitter maintenance on Thursday August 25...

NOAA Weather Radio station KZZ81, broadcasting from a tower in
Lockport, on a frequency of 162.425 MHz, will be off the air for
several hours, beginning 11:00 AM CDT Thursday August 25. 

Service should be restored by around 5:00 PM.

Listeners may tune in to: 

KWO39 on a frequency of 162.55 MHz in Chicago, 

KXI58 on a frequency of 162.400 in Plano, or

KZZ58 on a frequency of 162.525 in Kankakee 

as alternate NOAA Weather Radio broadcasts.
