A massive heat wave is consuming much of the Midwest into the Southern tier of the U.S. with hazy, hot and humid conditions. Storm Data for the Chicago Forecast Office County Warning Area Storm Data contains a chronological listing of tornadoes, thunderstorms, hail, floods, drought conditions, lightning, high winds, snow, temperature extremes and other unusual weather phenomena. The reports are provided by the National Weather Service and contain statistics on personal injuries and damage estimates. Storm Data is a publication of the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI). The publications listed below are available in Portable Document Format (PDF). The PDF Viewer is required to view and/or print these files. One can also search the Storm Data certified reports by using the NCEI Storm Events Database tool.
