Severe thunderstorms which can bring large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes will be possible over parts of the central U.S. through this weekend. Multiple rounds of rain and thunderstorms may result in flooding Saturday through Sunday afternoon. Do not drive onto flooded roadways!
Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are anticipated on Saturday afternoon, evening and night, particularly across southern Oklahoma and western-north Texas. Damaging wind gusts, large hail and locally heavy rainfall are the main concerns.
An unsettled weather pattern will continue this weekend, with daily chances for showers and thunderstorms. A few storms may be strong to severe each day and bring locally heavy rainfall.
Daily rain and storm chances will continue this weekend along with near-normal temperatures. We look to turn generally drier and warmer/more humid into next week.

Local Weather History For June 6th...
An isolated severe thunderstorm over western Oklahoma produced a
tornado on June 6, 1994. The tornado developed just north-northwest
of Foss, then moved slowly south. As it crossed Interstate-40, it
overturned four cars and four tractor-trailers, slightly injuring two
motorists.
