Scattered severe thunderstorms over the eastern Texas panhandle and
moved into southwest Oklahoma on this date back in 2011. Hail over two inches in diameter was reported in and around Altus, as well as wind gusts that exceeded 70 mph. In fact, severe wind gusts were reported in and around Altus for around 45 minutes. |
