Tracking Late December Winter Storm Expected to Impact the Northern Plains through the Northeast U.S.

A winter storm system will rapidly intensify over the Midwest on Sunday and track through the Great Lakes on Monday. Periods of heavy snow are anticipated across the Upper Great Lakes late Sunday and continuing into Monday. Chuuk State is comprised of the collection of volcanic islands within the Chuuk Lagoon and some 24 outer-island atolls --some 290 islands total. Chuuk is the most populous of the FSM states, with 53,595 people (est. 2000) and a land area of 49 square miles. It is a world-famous location for SCUBA divers, with a sunken WWII Japanese fleet to explore.
