Two Storms Tracking through the Southwest and Southcentral U.S.

A storm over the southwest U.S. will shift east through Thursday while another Pacific storm pivots over the region Friday through the weekend. Widespread low elevation rain and high elevation snow showers are expected with each storm. Our forecast area, or County Warning Area (CWA), is highlighted in the picture below.

Our CWA consists of ten counties in eastern Pennsylvania, sixteen counties in New Jersey,

five counties on the upper Eastern Shore of Maryland, and all three counties in Delaware.

This area includes the cities of Philadelphia, Allentown, Atlantic City, and Wilmington, and

is home to approximately 11.1 million people.
