Ian to Bring Life-Threatening Storm Surge and Hurricane Conditions By This Afternoon

The center of Ian will reach the coast of South Carolina today, and then move farther inland across eastern South Carolina and central North Carolina tonight and Saturday. There is a danger of life-threatening storm surge along the coasts of northeast Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas today.
