Severe Weather Continues for the Center of the Nation; Heat Concerns for Southern Texas

A developing storm across the Plains will bring rounds of severe weather for center of the nation the next couple of days. In addition, increasing temperatures and winds with low humidity values will raise wildfire concerns for portions of the Southwest. County Warning Area
 

Our forecast area, or County Warning Area (CWA), is highlighted in the picture below.

Our CWA consists of ten counties in eastern Pennsylvania, sixteen counties in New Jersey,

five counties on the upper Eastern Shore of Maryland, and all three counties in Delaware.

This area includes the cities of Philadelphia, Allentown, Atlantic City, and Wilmington, and

is home to approximately 11.1 million people.
