2019 NOAA Hurricane Awareness Tour Coming to Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport on  Wednesday, May 8, 2019

 

The Roanoke, VA stop on the 2019 East Coast Hurricane Awareness Tour will take place at Roanoke-Blacksburg
Regional Airport  on Wednesday May 8, 2019.

 

Driving directions: 

 

From Interstate 81

  • Take exit 143 onto Interstate 581/220 South
  • Take Exit 3E, Hershberger Road
  • Move over into the far left lane
  • Take the Aviation Drive/Airport exit
  • Continue north on Aviation Drive to Municipal Road NW
  • This will end at the Gate 18 Public Parking

Parking and Event Entrance:

The event entrance (and exit) will be south of Gate 18 Parking.  There will be plenty of signs to guide visitors
to the parking area and event entrance.  In addition, please utilize the map below that show the layout,
parking, and entrance details.
