A Flood Watch is in effect for much of South Georgia until late tonight. Slow-moving thunderstorms with intense rain will quickly drop 3-5 inches (or more) of rain, with a few spot getting up to 7 inches. This much rain in a short time would bring dangerous flash flooding. Never drive through floodwaters. Turn around, don't drown.
