Widespread critical to extreme fire weather conditions this afternoon and evening over central and western areas cause any new fire starts to spread rapidly.
Strong to potentially damaging winds may develop over the northern mountains to central highlands Monday and Tuesday. In addition to the very gusty winds, dry conditions and low humidity will be present, leading to high fire danger!
