Behind a cold front late Thursday night into Friday morning, winds will shift from southwesterly to northerly. These strong north winds will then blow across the panhandles through the rest of morning hours.
A cold front brings much colder air across the panhandles come Friday. This will break the heat wave that has been over the panhandles for the last few days.
