Breezy winds are expected once again tomorrow, but this time the winds are going to be out of the southwest. Winds during the afternoon are forecast to peak around 30-40 mph, with the highest gusts across the west and southwest. These winds combined with continued dry conditions may lead to some elevated fire weather concerns on Thursday.

The start of the weekend will remain on the warm side on Friday, but temperatures will quickly cool down on Saturday into Sunday as a cold front moves across the region during the day on Saturday. This front will lead to breezy north winds on Saturday into Sunday and lows on Sunday are expected to be below freezing for most of the area. Highs on Sunday should be below average due to the cold air behind the front.
