Overview

A long duration winter storm tracked across the region Friday night and Saturday.  Widespread snowfall amounts over 8" were common, with some locations receiving over a foot of snow!  This will likely go down as one of the highest snowfall events for any year for the month of November in eastern IA, northwest IL, and northeast MO.  Numerous accidents including a few jackknifed semis on I-80 and I-74 and several road closures occurred with this event.
