Persistent high pressure and dry conditions across the Southeast will make for continued very low rain chances this week. The potential for rainfall will increase across parts of the area this coming weekend.
Long-range forecast models are suggesting a large-scale weather pattern supportive of rainfall across parts of the eastern U.S. (including Georgia) near the end of the month. That said, not all of the state will necessarily see rainfall, and it will take an extended period of ample rainfall to put a dent in the drought.
Here are the forecast low temperatures and precipitation chances for tonight.
